Privacy policy
What this policy covers
This policy explains what strongsoon.com does with personal data. The site offers online strength and health coaching with Sahra Akyol, under the name Strong Soon. It covers the pages on this website, the application, the newsletter form, and the visit statistics. It does not cover a site you open after you leave, including Calendly, Instagram, PARC, or a supplement shop.
I coach people in more than a dozen countries, including the United States, Germany, Turkey, Mexico, and Australia. I coach from the Dominican Republic. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the rights in section 8 are the ones the GDPR describes.
1. Information I collect
I only describe data the site actually handles. Where a form asks for something and then does not keep it, this section says so.
Application
Starting a plan opens an application, either in a window over the page or on /apply. It asks for:
- your profession and a description of your work
- whether health or fitness is affecting your work, which areas of life are affected, your main concerns, what you have already tried, and your goal
- whether you are ready to change, and how you respond to coaching
- your full name, email address, and phone number
- whether you can pay for coaching
- which plan you chose, and which page and button you started from
The questions are about your work, your health, and your private life. The form does not ask for a diagnosis or a medical record. Answers about your health can be a special category of personal data under the GDPR (Art. 9).
The site does not save the application. On /apply, each “Continue” sends the answers so far to this website’s server so it can show the next screen. This website’s code does not write those answers to a log or a database. In the window over the page, the answers stay in that window. When you finish, the site checks that you ticked the consent box and then discards the result. Sahra does not receive it. There is no customer relationship management (CRM) service connected.
Newsletter form
The footer, and a band on the homepage, include a form titled “Get the newsletter.” It asks for your email address. Pressing Subscribe is the request to be emailed.
The address is sent to Kit, Inc. (kit.com, United States). Kit sends a confirmation email. The address joins the newsletter list after you confirm. This website does not keep a separate copy. The form clears the field after you submit.
Email you send
There is no contact form. Mailto links on this site open sahra.akyol@gmail.comm. That inbox belongs to the previous operator of this domain. A message there may not reach me.
If an email does reach an inbox I control, it can include your name, your address, and whatever you wrote. I do not keep a separate copy of those messages on this website.
Hosting and device data
Vercel (Vercel Inc., United States) hosts the site. When you open a page, Vercel processes the technical data needed to deliver it. That includes, for example, your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, and the browser you used.
Visit statistics
Vercel Web Analytics counts visits. It does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser. Vercel recognises a returning visit within one day from a value it calculates from the request, and discards that value after 24 hours. I only see totals.
For each page view it records the time, the page address, the referring site, your approximate location (country, region, and city), and your browser, operating system, and device type. Before a page address leaves your browser, the site removes everything after a “#” and every query parameter except campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and the application entry point (plan, offer, source). No form answer, name, or email address is sent to it.
Video
Coaching videos stream from Vercel’s file storage (Vercel Blob). Your browser fetches the files from Vercel, so Vercel receives the same kind of technical data as for hosting. The player does not ask for your name or email, and it does not track what you watch.
What this site does not collect
- No account, password, or payment. You pay once, when you register for coaching, and that step is not on this website. No card number or bank account is collected here.
- No advertising identifiers, and no tool that follows you from this site onto other sites.
- Nothing you type on Calendly. “Book a call” leaves this website and opens the previous operator’s account: calendly.com/apex-performance-official. Calendly receives what you type only after you are on Calendly’s site.
2. How I collect it
- From you. You type it into the application or the newsletter form, or you send an email.
- From the request that loads a page. Vercel receives technical data when your browser asks for a page, a font, a video, or the statistics script. The fonts (Archivo and JetBrains Mono) are files on this website. Your browser does not contact Google, or any other font service, to display them.
- Not from data brokers or partners. I do not buy data about you, and I do not receive a feed of your details from another company.
The site sets no cookies. When you save a privacy choice or dismiss the visit-count notice, it stores one entry in your browser’s local storage under the key strongsoon:consent. It holds your choice for each category, the policy version you answered, and the time you saved it. It stays on your device until you clear this site’s data. It is not sent to me.
3. How I use it
- To run the site. Vercel uses technical data to deliver pages, fonts, and video, and to keep the site available.
- To see which pages are used. Visit statistics show totals, so I can see which pages people open and where the site needs work. They are not combined with your name or email, and they are not used to follow you across other sites.
- To show the next application screen. The questions exist so I can get to know you before coaching starts. The site does not keep the answers, so I cannot use them.
- To send the newsletter. Kit sends it to an address that confirmed.
- To answer email that reaches me, and to keep a record of a coaching enquiry if I add it to client notes I control.
- Not for advertising. I do not sell personal data, and I do not share it with an advertising network.
I read every application myself when I have one. No decision about you is made by software alone. The site does not use your answers to train a model.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Running the site. Legitimate interest in operating the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), for hosting data.
- Visit statistics. Legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object, and the counting stops. Section 9 says how.
- Health answers on the application. Your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR). The last screen asks for it before you can finish. The box is not ticked for you. The record of that consent (the time, the wording, and the policy version) is built in the browser and is not stored, because the application is not stored.
- The rest of an application, including your contact details. The site uses the answers to show you the next screen, and does not keep them.
- Newsletter. Pressing Subscribe is the request to be emailed (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Kit sends a confirmation email. The address is stored by Kit after you confirm.
- Email about coaching, when it reaches me: steps toward a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Other messages: legitimate interest in answering them (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Who else receives it
I do not sell your data. These companies process personal data for this website:
- Vercel Inc., United States: hosting, video storage, and visit statistics.
- Kit, Inc., United States: the email address from the newsletter form, so Kit can send the confirmation email and the newsletter.
No customer relationship management service receives application answers.
I may also disclose data if the law requires it. No process for that is set up on this website, because the site does not hold a database of applications.
These links open another site. I do not control that site after you arrive:
- Instagram profile for Strong Soon. Instagram’s rules are in Instagram’s privacy policy.
- Calendly booking page. Calendly’s rules are in Calendly’s privacy notice.
- PARC. I founded PARC (Performance And Recuperation Collective). That site is a different website. This policy covers strongsoon.com.
- NutriDyn and Designs for Health, from the discounts page.
6. International transfers
I coach from the Dominican Republic. Vercel and Kit process data in the United States.
7. How long I keep it
- Application answers and the consent record built with them: not stored. On /apply they exist for the request that draws the next screen. In the window they exist until you close it.
- Client records: this website does not hold them.
- Newsletter addresses: Kit, Inc. stores the email address. Unsubscribing stops the newsletter. This website does not keep a separate copy.
- Visit statistics: Vercel keeps the totals under its own policy. The one-day recognition value in section 1 is separate from how long those totals are kept.
- Hosting logs: Vercel keeps them under its own policy. I do not keep a copy.
- Privacy choices: on your device, until you clear this site’s data. A refusal is kept when this policy’s version changes. A grant is asked again.
8. Your rights
If the GDPR applies, you can ask me to:
- give you access to the personal data I hold about you (Art. 15)
- correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- delete data (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- provide data you gave me, in a portable form (Art. 20)
- stop processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- withdraw a consent, at any time, for the future (Art. 7 (3))
- object to a decision based only on automated processing (Art. 22). I do not make that kind of decision.
This site does not publish an inbox for privacy requests. Do not send a request only to sahra.akyol@gmail.comm. That address is the previous operator’s inbox, and a message there may not reach me. There is no database of applications on this site to export or delete. A newsletter address is held by Kit, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. Visit statistics cannot be linked to you, so I cannot look them up. To stop them, use the privacy choices in section 9. Email that only reached the previous operator’s inbox is not in my control.
You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are in the EEA or the UK, that is the authority where you live.
I do not sell or share personal data for cross-context advertising.
9. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies.
Visit statistics
Vercel Web Analytics runs unless you turn it off. A short notice on your first visit tells you that visits are counted without cookies. You can object at any time, and it stops immediately:
- Open Privacy choices and switch off “Cookieless visit counts”. The link is also in the footer of every page and at the bottom of the application.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. The site treats either signal as an objection and does not load the statistics script, unless you later turn statistics on yourself.
Tools that need your consent
No tool that sets cookies, stores an identifier in your browser, or follows you from visit to visit runs on this site today. If I add one, it stays off until you agree. A notice will ask you, with “Allow” and “No thanks” as equal choices. Refusing does not change how the site works. The legal basis would be your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw in the privacy choices. I will name the tool here before it runs.
Local storage
The privacy-choice entry in section 2 is the only storage this site writes in your browser. It remembers your choice, so it does not need a separate consent. When this policy changes in a way that affects a consent-based tool, the site asks again. A refusal stays in place.
10. Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and strongsoon.com is encrypted. Pages you open after you leave, including Calendly and Instagram, follow their own practices.
There is no account system and no database of form answers on this website.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. That limit still applies to the host.
11. Children’s privacy
The about page says the people I coach are between 15 and 70. This website does not ask your age, and it has no path for a parent or guardian. I do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 13 through this website.
12. How to contact me
The controller for personal data on this website is:
Sahra Akyol, operating this website under the name Strong Soon
strongsoon.com
Place of coaching, as published on the about page: Dominican Republic
Do not send a privacy request only to sahra.akyol@gmail.comm. That address is the previous operator’s inbox.
13. Changes to this policy
The date and the version at the top of this page change when the text changes. The version is also stored with a privacy choice in your browser, and with an application consent record if one is stored in the future.
14. Other terms
- No sale. I do not sell personal data, and I do not share it for advertising.
- Other sites. Section 5 lists the links that leave strongsoon.com. Their policies apply once you are there.
- Effective date. The last updated date at the top is the date of this policy.
